BS or equivalent + 9 yrs related experience, or MS + 7 yrs related experience. Knowledge of legal frameworks supporting terrorism and WMD investigations, including techniques, procedures, and policies is very desirable. Experience with the counter-proliferation of CBRNE, particularly biological warfare and/or bio terrorism, and/or cyber crimes is a plus. The ideal candidate will have had prior assignments as a WMD coordinator or assistant coordinator in a field office or headquarters capacity. Candidates with experience in investigative or supervisory analytical positions such as in a task force, crisis management center, fusion center or SIOC are also preferred. Experience as a mentor, advisor, or liaison outside of the United States is highly preferred but not required. At a minimum, applicants should possess an understanding of the challenges associated with working with host nation counterparts and have basic familiarity with a broad range of regional WMD security issues.
